When I was laid up unexpectedly for several months with an atrial heart flutter and pneumonia, I laboriously typed out a small cookbook, letter by letter, mostly to pass the time. To my surprise, our 10 year old daughter Mikala wrote a heartfelt dedication to be printed in the book. It is reproduced below:
