Bullseye

Onscreen Keyboard

Bullseye came about when Henry envisaged a faster onscreen keyboard design. He slowly drew it in Powerpoint.

Before finding the resources to program the design, he put it through some simulated speed tests. To his surprise, despite it’s innovative appearance, it proved to be no faster than a regular onscreen keyboard, so the software effort was not undertaken. The point of showing it here is to demonstrate what can be done using a headtracker, a standard laptop and Microsoft Office (or equivalent). It is very slow, but it beats staring at the ceiling! (Even if the desgn ultimately fails.)
