KU student designs Ultramouse to help paralyzed uncle

Henry Clever designed the Ultramouse – a device that let’s a disabled user control a mouse cursor across a room using head control, without having a camera right in front.

V-LINC – Providing Independence through Technology

Nathan Scott of Johns Hopkins University just pointed me to V-LINC – Providing Independence through Technology, an organization that links retired engineers with persons with disabilities in Maryland.

One interesting example project sponsored by V-LINC is a Johns Hopkins Senior Design project: Antoinette’s Dining Assistant.
